Mission

Mission Statement
My mission as a teacher is to encourage, inspire, and support students toward the goal of knowing themselves as learners who are capable of reflective thought about their abilities as problem-solvers and members of our classroom community. I strive to grow along with the students and to be “in the moment.”

• To create a classroom community responsive to students’ needs

• To be authentic and honest
• To use language that intentionally attaches importance to what kids say, and elevates them in their own eyes and in the eyes of their classmates
• To relax and have some fun
